Fenaka Corporation says it would give concessions to businesses that are working to extend 'Home Stay' tourism that was launched in the Maldives yesterday.

Fenaka is a state-owned utility company providing electricity, water, and sewerage to the island communities of the Maldives.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of 'Home Stay Tourism' at Dhiggaru yesterday, the Managing Director at Fenaka Ahmed Saeed said that it would take about 3 months to register such businesses under Fenaka Corporation and that it would give full assistance in providing the utility services to such businesses.

Saeed said once a cost structure is made, the corporation is willing to offer installment-based payment plans from 3 months to one year and that this would be very beneficial to those entering into this business.

'Home Stay Tourism' was launched in Dhiggaru yesterday with one house on the island now open for business. It is hosting four tourists as their first customers.
