Coalition party Adhaalath party has condemned the 'IndiaOut' campaign driven by the opposition coalition saying that the campaign incited hatred in people's hearts.
In a statement, the Adhaalath party said that it condemned political manipulations that look to create hate for global partners that are assisting in the development of the country.
It said that the 'IndiaOut' campaign spearheaded by former President Abdullah Yameen is designed to incite hatred in people's hearts towards India and that it is a reckless act.
Adaalath party said that the strategic work being carried out between the two nations was a result of a long-standing relationship between India and the Maldives and the future of the country would benefit from its rewards.
It also said the foundation of some of the work being carried out between the countries was laid during President Yameen's tenure and that his current actions can now be seen as a political stunt.
The party said that continuing the campaign would only result in the Maldives being isolated from the International Community and the country and its people experiencing irreversible losses.
