The Maldives has signed two MoUs with Kuwait during Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid's official visit to the small Gulf nation.
Shahid said in a tweet that he was delighted to sign the MoUs with Kuwait on behalf of the Maldives.
He listed the MoUs as the "MoU on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries and the MoU on Tourism Cooperation.
Shahid said that it will expand and fortify the spirit of cooperation between the Maldives and Kuwait for the mutual benefit of their people.
Earlier, Minister Shahid had met the Foreign Minister of Kuwait Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah.
Shahid said that during the meeting both discussed further strengthening relations & intensifying collaboration.
