Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC says the construction of major roads for Hdh. Hanimaadhoo is underway, with an overall 70 percent project progress.
In a tweet, MTCC said that cable junction installation works, curbstone precasting works, and pipe installation works for the project are currently ongoing.
MTCC said 95 percent of the cable junction installation work is now completed with 85 percent of curbstone precasting works now over.
MTCC also said that 48 percent of pipe installation has been finished.
Meanwhile, MTCC said that the Work on the K. Guraidhoo land reclamation and shore protection project is well underway, with an overall 48 percent project progress.
It said that reclamation works and revetment works for the project are currently ongoing, with 83 percent and 8 percent completion, respectively.
