Maldives National Defense Force MNDF says it has scheduled military exercises at its Training Center in Kadhoo and is expected to use live weapons.
MNDF said that it would conduct these military exercises from 31 October to 2nd November and from 6th November to 8th November.
It said that these exercises would be held from 6 pm to 11:59 pm on these days.
MNDF said that it had planned to use several weapons in its arsenal during these exercises and that these include Pistol, Rifles, Machine guns, and flares.
It said that the surrounding air space would be used during these trainings and in the direction of the southeast from Kahdhoo training center.
MNDF has been conducted such trainings from time to time and has used live weapons before. It had assured that such exercise does not necessarily mean there is a danger to Maldivian security.
