Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in relation to the stabbing reported in Addu City on Monday.
Police said that the suspect was arrested yesterday under a court order but failed to reveal any more information about the man.
It had said that a fight between two rival groups in Addu City on Monday night injured one person.
Police had said the person sustained injuries after being attacked by a sharp object.
It had said that the person had been rushed to Addu Equatorial Hospital for treatment. Police had confirmed that the victim had sustained serious injuries during the stabbing and identified the victim as a man.
Police added that the person’s condition is improving, although the hospital is yet to confirm his current condition
