Health authorities on Thursday confirm a total of 104 new positive cases of Covid-19 along with 130 more recoveries recorded on the same day.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms the new developments have been recorded during the last 24 hour window, while the new developments have propelled the positive cases to 7,329 while recovery additions surged total recoveries to 4,691.
Moreover, authorities report a total of 76 locals from Thursdays cases along with 22 Bangladeshis and another 5 Indians and one Nepalese. Authorities further confirm out of today's total positive cases 102 were discovered from Greater Male' Region while only two cases were reported from elsewhere.
Active cases in light of Thursday's development have spiked to 2,610 while 180 out of these are hospitalized for treatment. Meanwhile 1,434 individuals remain in various isolation facilities across the country.
So far the island nation reports a total of 28 deaths in relation with Covid-19 which includes 22 locals and 6 expatriates.
