President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent the name of Ahmed Imad as his nomination for the post of MMA Deputy Governor for parliamentary approval.
The parliament would decide on sending his name to the Public Accounts Committee at today’s sitting.
Imad is currently Executive Director of the MMA’s Policy Research and Statistics Division.
He completed his Masters of Science, Economics and Finance from the United Kingdom while he completed his Bachelor of Business (Economics and Science) from Malaysia.
The post of MMA Deputy governor was vacant after the previous deputy governor Aishath Zahira retired from her post.
