According to President's Office the said period for state bodies have been extended from 21 June to 30 June. State bodies or ministeries will open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week between 09:00hrs and 13:00hrs for essential operations.
Though state institutions or ministeries have been granted permission to open their premises for essential tasks four days on a weekly basis, government have ordered the state bodies to remain closed from providing counter services to public. Many of service-oriented ministeries and state bodies are rendering their services through online mediums.
Several regulations have been set out for state bodies and ministeries to open their respective premises for essential tasks, including acquired permission from the respective ministers or the top-most designate if they wish to operate outside of permitted working hours.
Moreover, such ministeries or state bodies requesting for additional working hours must present their request in detail to Health Protection Agency (HPA) which then will decide on the proceedings.
