Bank of Maldives BML says it will resume card collection services via pre-booked appointments at its Customer Service Centre (CSC) from 1st June 2020.
In statement, BML said to ensure that its services will be provided in line with the social distancing and safety measures announced by the Health Protection Agency, it will serve 300 customers per day for card collection.
BML said that during the first two weeks of June, its Customer Service Centre would be open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
It said that appointments can be made the day before each working day, for example for Monday, appointments will be available for booking from 12am on Sunday.
BML said that to make an appointment send the following information to 455 via an SMS by typing each information in a new line.
- Keyword for Branch/Service Centre
- ID card number or Passport number (for foreigner)
- Name
- Current Address
The Bank said once an appointment is successfully made, Maldives Police Service will send a permit via SMS with your appointment time to visit the Bank.
The Bank also advised its customers to wear a mask, observe strict social distancing by using the distance markers placed on the floor, to bring own, and to use hand sanitizers placed at Bank location when visiting the service centers.
BML also said that as an added precautionary measure to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19, it would make arrangements to deliver cards to its elderly customers and people with disabilities.
BML said to request for card delivery, customers should send an SMS to 7990200 or 9990200 with the customer’s ID Card number“Card Delivery”.
It said that the Bank would deliver the cards to the ground floor of the building.
