National Carrier Maldivian’s cargo freighter has flown in from Dubai with 7 tons of goods.
In a tweet, Maldivian said its cargo Freighter arrived from Dubai last night with 6700kgs of goods.
The National Carrier had already transported goods from several countries. This includes 12 tons of cargo it had transported from Thailand. Also it had flown in 10 tons of cargo goods from neighboring Sri Lanka.
Maldivian had urged those who want to import goods from India, Bangkok and Dubai to coordinate with the airline in these endeavors.
Many local businesses are facing difficulties in importing goods from countries with many taking restrictive actions in their fight against global pandemic Covid-19.
