Maldives Monetary Authority MMA says public banks and MMA would be opened for three day next week.
MMA said although government offices would be closed next week, banks would be open for service on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week.
MMA said banking services as well as deposition and withdrawal services would be available from morning 09:00hrs to afternoon 12:30hrs on these days.
It said customers can collect coin from MMA between 09:30hrs and 12:00hrs.
Government announced yesterday that its offices, schools, universities and colleges would remain closed for an additional week.
Government offices have now been shut for three weeks as part of the preventive measures being taken to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 in the country. Schools, universities and colleges have also been closed for more than three weeks.
