Maldives National Defense Force MNDF says work to disinfect Gdh. Thinadhoo is underway.
In a tweet MNDF said the work is being carried-out by MNDF Southern Area in collaboration with Gdh. Thinadhoo Council. MNDF said servicemen from Thinadhoo fire station are involved in the disinfection process.
It also said streets and harbor area of thinadhoo will also be disinfected today.
Authorities are working to disinfect Male’, Hulhumale and Villimale in the fight against Covid-19. Country’s main hub Velaana International Airport has also been disinfected as part of these measures.
