A heated debate between two siblings at Baa atoll Dharavandhoo has ended with injuries to one.
Maldives Police Service has since confirmed the incident, noting the physical altercation sparked between two siblings.
Moreover, the altercation ended with one of them stabbing the other's arm with a scissor in the heat of the exchange. Additionally, local law enforcement confirms the fight took place on Saturday, 28 March 2020.
Authorities further detailed on the reason for the altercation, claiming the scuffle started over an argument after the cash from the wallet of one went missing.
Meanwhile, the attacker; elder sibling, has been arrested by local authorities for the act of violence.
