The Crossroads Maldives and Jalboot Maldives have come forward with interest to manage 'Fathuruvehi'; the center at Fishermen's Park.

Both parties have shown interest following Male' City Council's announcement seeking for an interested venture or entity to operate and manage the recently developed property at the Fishermen's Park.

Though the letters of interest from both the ventures were put on agenda at the City Council's meeting on Tuesday, clashes between councilors lead to the meeting getting cancelled.

In Male' City Council's announcement, they sought parties who managed tour operators, resorts or passenger cruises and liners, to operate the venue.

The services and facilities available at the 'Fathurvehi' center include restrooms, guest lounge as well as an information kiosk.

Other services include waiting areas on the first floor as well as in the patio, free WiFi as well as security.

The center was developed by Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) to cater for island-hopper tourists visiting the mainland for brief stays.
