The cumulative total of the state's revenues and grants have reached MVR2,411.6 million according to the latest statistics from Maldives Ministry of Finance.
The ministry in their Weekly Fiscal Developments had revealed the cumulative total of state expenditure as of 06 February, reached MVR1,638.9 million.
According to the stats, 85% of the total expense budget have been used for recurrent expenditure and 15% on capital expenditure - so far in 2020.
Revenues show 86% of the total were garnered through tax sources and the other 14% from non-tax sources.
Tax sources remains the strongest income components for Maldives government, while the overall balance for the review period was a surplus of MVR772.7 million.
Meanwhile, tax revenue's cumulative total has reached MVR2,079.2 million while non-tax revenue's cumulative total has hit MVR325.7 million.
Recurrent expenditure's cumulative total has hit MVR1,387.0 million while the cumulative total of capital expenditure was observed at MVR251.9 million as of 06 February.
Government of Maldives have settled a total of MVR108.7 million in loan repayment while MVR78.6 million were transferred to the Sovereign Development Fund (SDF).
