An employee at South Palm Resort, developed at Addu City's Ismehelaa Hera, was found dead on Wednesday, 15 January 2020.
Maldives Police Service, speaking on the case said the received the report around 09:19hrs of Wednesday morning.
The resort management had checked up on the staff, after he failed to report to duty at designated time.
The employee was found motionless in the room and was transferred to Hulhumeedhoo Health Center, where he were reported dead on arrival.
Furthermore, reports confirm the demised was identified as 48 year old local male.
Local law enforcement authorities are investigating the case.
