At least one Maldivian local has been injured at Alif Alif atoll Feridhoo following a violent altercation led by a local group.
Maldives Police Service commented that a 32 year old local was assaulted by a group of six perpetrators.
Moreover, the assaulting gang had vandalized the victim's residence during their altercation.
The injured victim of the assault received at least two distinct concussions to his head and cut on one of his left elbow. The victim's right eye was left swollen with a broken left shoulder.
The perpetrators broken and smeared glasses of the window while several items from the victim's residence were damaged.
Though local law enforcement has denied commenting in detail they confirmed the case was under investigation.
