President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu says his administration will continue to have cordial relations with all the countries except for Israel.
The President said this while addressing the “Dhiveheenge Raajje” gathering, hosted by the People’s National Congress (PNC) at Malé’s Artificial Beach to commemorate the second anniversary of his Administration.
President Dr Muizzu briefed attendees on the formulation of Government policies and the strategic mechanisms employed to coordinate national development projects. In this context, he highlighted three principal pillars underpinning the Government’s policy agenda: stability, development, and security. He further stressed that Islam constitutes the foundational framework of the Administration’s governance and institutional priorities.
He reaffirmed the Administration’s commitment to the Maldives’ First foreign policy, underscoring the nation’s stance of maintaining cordial relations with all countries, except for Israel.
He confirmed that Israeli passports would remain inadmissible for entry into the Maldives for as long as the Palestinian people continue to face persecution.
