National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met with Tulsi Gabbard, the US Director of National Intelligence, in New Delhi on Sunday to discuss various aspects of the evolving Indo-US relationship.

Sources confirmed that Gabbard, who is on a multi-nation tour, engaged in a comprehensive discussion with NSA Doval on key issues related to India and the United States. As part of her trip, Gabbard is visiting Japan, Thailand, and India, with a brief stop in France.

This marks Gabbard's second international trip since her appointment as the top intelligence official under the Trump administration. Following her confirmation last month, she attended the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

During her Asia visit, Gabbard is scheduled to deliver an address on March 18 at the Raisina Dialogue, India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics. The event, which runs from March 17-19, gathers global leaders to discuss pressing international challenges. Gabbard is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Indian officials and representatives from other nations.

The Raisina Dialogue, hosted by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, serves as a platform for prominent political, business, and civil society leaders to address the world’s most critical issues and explore opportunities for global cooperation.

According to the official Raisina Dialogue website, Gabbard will participate in a keynote conversation with Samir Saran, President of ORF. The Dialogue itself features multi-stakeholder, cross-sector discussions, with participation from heads of state, cabinet ministers, and officials from the public and private sectors, along with media and academic leaders.

ORF highlighted that the conference aims to foster collaboration on contemporary global matters, with support from a wide range of institutions and individuals dedicated to its mission. (ANI)
