Police say the body of a dead person has been found in the harbor of Haa Dhaalu Atoll Kulhudhufushi.
They said that the report of a dead body floating in the north harbor of the island came in around 08:17 in the morning. They said that the body was of a local man and that the man was then taken to the hospital.
Police confirmed the hospital declared the man dead on arrival.
Police also identified the man as 36-year-old Mohamed Hassan from Daizy Fehi house of Kulhudhufushi.
They added that they were further investigating the incident.
