Police arrested two individuals after a scuffle due to a TikTok live session.
Two people were arrested for allegedly entering a house in Maafanu ward of Male' this morning following an argument about TikTok live.
Police added that the suspects were later released from custody.
Video of their arrest is now circulating on social media but the Police refuse to give any more information about the incident. The video shows that the violence was instigated by two men who entered the house in Male'. The video also shows Police on the scene actively working to arrest the two instigators.
TikTok lives is popular among Maldivians as many local influencers take to the mobile video streaming App to interact with fans and other influencers.
