Education Ministry says no decision has yet been made on whether or not to vacate Izudheen School after it was revealed that the building housing the school has a crack in its ceiling.

The Ministry is assessing the integrity of the building after a crack was found in the ceiling of the building's third floor. It said that a decision on vacating the school would be made once the assessment was completed.

However, reports on social media claim that the government is planning to give the building to the nearby Villa College and transfer the students of Izzudheen to Dharumavantha School.
