Four people have been injured in a launch accident that occurred in Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo today.
Police said that the accident occurred when a launch carrying passengers crashed into the ferry terminal jetty as it tried to dock near the jetty.
Police said that the launch was carrying three women and a toddler as passengers, along with the captain and one deckhand as crew at the time of the crash.
They stated that 2 passengers and the members of the crew were injured in the collision.
Police said that those who were injured received treatment at the Thinadhoo Abdul Samad Hospital.
Police added that they were further investigating the case.
