Three Maldivians have been wounded in a dangerous road accident that happened in the Indian city of Kochi (also known as Cochin).
The accident happened earlier this morning.
The three individuals who were injured have now been rushed to the hospital for treatment. Sources have said that the three individuals are from a family from Raa Atoll Alifushi.
It has been reported that a 25-year-old individual along with a 50-year-old and a 54-year-old were injured in the roadside accident.
Sources have said one of the victims suffered facial injuries while another broke their leg. The victims are already undergoing surgeries for their injuries.
It was also reported that the accident occurred on their way back to Trivandrum from Kochi after a doctor's visit. The driver of the vehicle they were riding stopped at the side of the highway when another vehicle on the highway crashed into it.
