President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih says regardless of whoever comes to power from the Opposition Coalition, the coalition's policies will leave the Maldives unrecognisable.

He made the comments in Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo as he concluded his campaign trip to the North.

The President said that in the last 5 years, his administration put a stopped to political chaos and instablitiy and brought on developmental changes at a high speed.

President Solih asked those present at the rally to compare his first term as President and the term of his predecessor former President Abdullah Yameen and then cast their vote come September.

He said that in five years Yameen's administration only managed to carry out 79 projects in the whole of Haa Dhaalu Atoll and the current administration have carrie almost triple the projects in the last five years.

Noting that the Maldives is a country that can be developed and can benefit from the development, President Solih said that the current administration would need another term to complete current projects and begin new projects.

He added that the people accepted that this administration is fulfilling its pledges to the country.

He went on to repeat his warning that the current projects would be brought to a standstill if a party not in coalition with MDP comes into power.

President Solih said that the Opposition's policy would be to amass the people and all political power to one place and described that this would leave the Maldives 'Unreconizable'.
