Housing Development Corporation decides to hold an 'Open Day' to give information about the job opportunities available on the newly developed picnic island Kudagiri.
HDC said that it would hold the 'Open Day' next Saturday between 09:00 am to 03:00 pm on the Ground Floor of its headquarters in Hulhumale'.
The Corporation said that it would be seeking eligible candidates for 17 posts at the picnic island and that this includes Executive Secretary, Accountant, Room Attendant, Sales and Reservation Coordinator, Receptionist, Tenant Management Coordinator, Marketing and PR Coordinator, Imam as well as janitors.
The posts come with attractive incomes with salaries ranging between MVR 8,5000 to MVR 17,000.
HDC invited those interested to visit the 'Open Day' and said that those who come ready with their qualifications, CVs, and copies of ID cards can apply for the posts on the spot.
The government awarded the contract to develop a picnic island in the Kudagiri lagoon to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC last year and conditioned it to finish the job in 150 days.
While several dates have been given for its grand opening, the government postponed the inauguration indefinitely early this year.
