Managing Director at Housing Development Corporation HDC Suhail Ahmed has resigned from his post.
Suhail who was appointed to the post in December of 2018, stepped down from the post last Thursday.
The reason for his resignation is still unclear.
Suhail has been serving HDC for a long time and filled the post of MD between 2012 to 2015 during former President Abdullah Yameen's tenure.
He had also filled the posts of Deputy Managing Director and Director of Planning and Estate before he was appointed to the post of Managing Director.
After his resignation, Deputy Managing Director Ahmed Athif is currently heading HDC.
In a statement, HDC thanked Suhail for his service and dedication to the Corporation.
HDC said that Suhail had filled top posts during the last four Presidency and he is well known for his ability to work well with the employees under him and described him as a kind-hearted person.
