Anti-India slogan 'IndiaOut' has been sprayed on the door of Defence Minister Mariya Ahmed Didi's residence in Male'.
A photo of the vandalism has been circulating on social media and it shows the slogan sprayed on the door in bold letters.
Police said on the matter that the incident had not been officially reported to them but they were still investigating the incident.
This comes after papers printed with the text 'India Out' were recently dumped outside the President's Office, Indian High Commission in Male', as well as outside the residence of Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid.
The anti-India campaign is currently led by the opposition and they had been expanding the campaign to the islands by holding rallies at different locations in the last couple of months.
The Opposition had also begun hanging massive banners with bold 'India Out' statements which promoted President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to issue a presidential decree declaring that the anti-India campaign has become a national threat and had since banned any activities under the slogan.
