A local woman has been found dead inside a guest house on Kaafu Atoll Gaafaru.
Sources have said that the woman is believed to be from Alifu Alifu Atoll Bodufulhadhoo and is around 28 years of age.
A media official from Gaafaru health center said that the body of the woman was brought to the center and confirmed that the woman was local.
The official also said that the woman had several injuries on her body and had blood on her body.
The Health Center did not give any more details about the injuries found on the body of the deceased.
Police have opened an investigation into the case and have said that they would update the media as the investigation moves forward.
