MPD parliamentary group has submitted a motion of no-confidence against the Minister of Telecommunications, Science, and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
Parliament Majority Leader and MP for Medhu Henveiru Constituency Ali Azim submitted the motion to the parliament and he had confirmed this via Twitter today.
It has been reported that 14 MPs have signed the no-confidence motion submitted against Minister Maleeh.
MDP MPs have attempted to submit a no-confidence motion against Minister Maleeh before but had only acquired the signature of 10 MPs. They had said that Minister Maleeh had failed to deliver on the responsibilities of the Ministry as per the laws and regulations.
But that the time the motion did not reach the floor of the parliament.
