President asks Tourism Minister Ali Waheed to resign.
Spokesperson for President Solih, Ibrahim Hood stated that Minister Ali Waheed was asked to resign due to reports received of inappropriate conduct in the capacity of his responsibilities.
Also, Hood satated that, many of Ministers coworkers reported complains against him to President and Gender ministry.
Gender related issues are alarming level in the Maldives.
The specific issue related with minister is not yet been disclosed by Spokesperson nor Gender Ministry.
There has been serious alegations that Minister Ali Waheed sexully harrassed Tourism Minister recently.
