Health Protection Agency says 3 critical patients of Covid-19 have been transferred to Dharumavantha Hospital 11th Floor, DH11 for further treatment.
In a tweet, HPA said the three patients were transferred to DH11 from Tree Top Hospital after their condition worsened. HPA confirmed that the patients were in critical condition. It also said that two of them were on ventilator support.
HPA said that they would continue to monitor the patient’s situation closely.
Eight people have died because of Covid-19 in the Maldives including four locals and four Bangladeshis.
The latest update from HPA shows that 2234 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the country with 19 new cases yesterday alone.
HPA also confirmed that 1911 individuals have recovered from the illness and only 400 remained under treatment now.
