Health Protection Agency HPA confirms that the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Maldives has now reached 1313.
In a tweet, HPA said as of 09:30 pm this evening an additional 39 case of Covid-19 infection was confirmed in the Maldives.
HPA said that this includes 16 Maldivians, 15 Bangladeshis, 7 Indians, and one Sri Lankan national.
A total of 469 Maldivians have now tested positive for Covid-19 with four elderly locals dying of the global pandemic here in the Maldives.
A 33-year-old Bangladeshi national has also died of Covid-19 with 675 Bangladeshi nationals tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives.
The latest update from HPA said that 127 people have now recovered from Covid-19 in the Maldives.
