National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) spokesperson has confirmed two more patients from Maldives have recovered from Covid-19 disease.
Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Azeez made the confirmation on Tuesday, 05 May, evening about the latest development.
Recently, Health Protection Agency (HPA) reported one additional recovery atop the previously confirmed 17 recoveries; increasing the number to 18.
As of the latest updates, the total recoveries in Maldives have now been confirmed at 20.
Earlier on Tuesday, health officials have attested one more death related to the viral contagion bringing the death count in Maldives to 2.
Moments earlier, HPA confirmed 16 additional cases of Covid-19 hiking the total positive cases to 573.
