Addu City Council has commenced the disinfection of Addu City as part of their measures to prevent further spread of Covid-19.
Addu City Council is collaborating with Maldives National Defense Force MNDF Southern area to carryout the disinfection. Earlier today MNDF personal disinfected Hithadhoo main road.
Earlier this week, MNDF and Male City Council began the work to disinfect Male City, Hulhumale and Villimale.
Government has taken several measures to deter a massive outbreak of Covid-19 virus in the country. This includes closing down public parks, government offices, schools, universities and colleges.
