A vehicle collision at the intersection of the Sinamale' Bridge and Hulhumale'-Hulhule' highway has resulted in the injury of at least one individual.
Maldives Police Service confirmed the accident occurred sometime around 09:10hrs on Thursday morning, and was reported to the authority.
The local law enforcement authority, also responsible with ensuring road safety and regulations claimed the accident occurred when an automobile and a motorbike collided.
Police claimed the motorbike was ridden by a 35 year old local male, who received multiple injuries following the accident.
The driver of the automobile, a registered taxi cab, had not received any injuries however.
Both the rider and the driver possessed valid driving licenses, however Maldives Police confirm they were investigating the accident.
