The top-tier luxury getaway, Pullman Maldives Maamutaa Resort developed at Gaaf Alif atoll has unveiled their first underwater villa.

The underwater villa, designed with thick glass walling allowing the inhabitants with a panoramic view of the ocean floor and the underwater life is spacious in size with a total room area of 1,216 square feet.

The underwater villa, first of its kind unveiled at the resort island, is a two-room abode with above-water access.

The segment above sea level, of the underwater villa, has several services and amenities including an in-built cafe spot.

Pullman Maldives Maamutaa becomes the latests in line to make full use of the pristine surrounding of the island by providing a boasting service in an underwater property.

The first to achieve the feat in the island nation was the Conrad Maldives Rangeli Resort, which opened the very first underwater property in the country - an underwater restaurant named 'Ithaa.'

Since then, Huravalhi Resort run at Lhaviyani atoll, has also challenged the trend with their very own underwater restaurant property.
