Police have confirmed that 5 individuals who went diving from a safari docked in Vaavu Atoll have been found dead.
Police said that the divers were reported missing around 1:45 this afternoon. Police indicated that search operations were launched when they received the report, and the bodies of all five individuals have been found.
They have been identified as five Italian tourists.
The Police did not give any more information in the case.
