A reporter from the local news outlet 'Adhadhu' was escorted out of the President's news briefing held earlier today.

Mohamed Shahzan was escorted out after he was alleged to have disobeyed a gag order issued by the Criminal Court about a documentary aired by the same outlet, alleging that the President had an extramarital affair with a former employee of the President's Office.

The reporter cited the allegations mentioned in the documentary when he asked the President his first question during today's briefing.

The President said the journalist had violated the court order issued in connection with the case. Shahzan made false accusations, and that is unacceptable, he said. The President told the reporter to leave the hall because they had violated the court order.

The Criminal Court ordered that the video documentary not be circulated in society and that any of its stories not be mentioned, either directly or indirectly.

Also, do not mention the witnesses or the victim of the crime in connection with the documentary, and do not disseminate the documents submitted in the case or information related to the trial.
