President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the newly developed Skate Park Arena at Usfasgandu in Malé.
Upon arrival at the ceremony, the President and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed were received by the Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu.
Following the inauguration, participants from three age groups showcased their skating skills. The President and the First Lady also joined participants for a group photograph and toured the Arena.
The development of the Skate Park Arena is part of ongoing efforts to promote youth engagement and community well-being, while expanding access to recreational and sporting facilities.
