A tourist has died after he was struck by the propeller of a boat while he was diving at a site in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll.
Police said that the incident was reported around 10:00 in the morning and that the tourist had been diving near the Manta Point in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll when he was struck by the propeller.
Police confirmed that the tourist succumbed to the injuries and identified the deceased as a German man.
Local police are further investigting the incidient.
