Police have confirmed the death of a local man who passed after being crushed by a vehicle he was repairing in Hulhumale'.
Police identified the victim as 60-year-old Mohamed Manik from Seenu Hithadhoo.
They stated that the man was underneath the vehicle, repairing it, when it fell on him and pinned him beneath it. Police said that the incident was reported yesterday and that it happened near Hulhumale' Cemetary. Police also said that the victim passed away while under treatment at Hulhumale' Hospital today.
Police did not give any other information about the case.
They added that they were further investigating the incident.
