A man working at Maldives Ports Limited, MPL, has passed away after suffering a seizure while at work earlier this morning.
MPL said that the staff working at Male' Commercial Harbor was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure episode and that tragically the staff member passed away while under treatment.
The Press has come to know that the deceased was a 24-year-old man from Gaafu Dhaalu Dhehvadhoo.
Police said that the man had fallen between two tug boats after the seizure episode and that the incident was reported around 10:45 in the morning.
They added that they were further investigating the case.
