National Social Protection Agency, NSPA, says more than 130 couples have applied for the state's financial assistance to start In Vitro Fertilization, IVF, treatment.

NSPA said the opportunity to apply for IVF treatment through the Fertility Care Fund was open until December 20 last year. It stated that 135 couples submitted forms for the fund.

The Agency further said that in 2025, 39 couples were found eligible for IVF treatment, and assistance has been arranged. NSPA has published the temporary list of fund recipients and has given till next Monday to submit any complaints to the list.

The list released by NSPA also explains why the applicants were not eligible.
