Police have arrested two foreigners who were involved in an altercation at Velaana International Airport earlier this month.
The two were initially summoned to the Police after they were involved in a verbal and physical attack at the airport on the 10th of this month.
Sharing the latest update on the case, the police said that the two foreigners were arrested on the 18th of this month. The two suspects have been identified as Sri Lankan nationals.
Police have published their picture and revealed that the two have been remanded for 15 days after their arrest.
Police are investigating the case. There have been various cases of clashes between foreigners in the past. Those arrested in such cases have been deported.
