Police have confirmed that the 14-year-old girl reported missing from Hulhumale' Phase 2 has been found safe and sound.
Yesterday, the Police had said Shiba Rasheed from Raa. Dhuvaafaru left her home in Phase 2 in the early hours of last Friday and has not been heard from since, and was reported missing.
A search operation was launched to find the missing teenager.
Today, the Police said that the girl had returned home and that the girl was safe and sound.
The Police did not reveal any other information about the case, nor where the girl had been while she was reported missing.
Missing persons cases have grown common in the Maldives, but most cases are resolved without tragedy as the victims get in touched with their loved ones once the Police launches search operations.
