Police have confirmed that a dead body has been found in a guest house in Hulhumale' Phase 1.
They said that the body belonged to a man but refrained from saying whether or not the man was a local or a foreigner.
Police further said that the body was discovered in a room in a guesthouse in Phase 1 of Hulhumale' and that the body was discovered around 12:14 in the afternoon.
Police confirmed that a team from the force was dispatched to the scene once the report came in about the discovery.
They added that they were further investigating the case.
