Police have arrested two individuals accused of kidnapping and robbing a person in Hulhumale'.
Police said a man was kidnapped and threatened with a sharp weapon inside a house in Hulhumale' on September 1 last night.
They said the suspects also stripped the man naked, took photos and videos of him, and demanded more money.
Police identified the suspects as 29-year-old Mohamed Sameer and 27-year-old Shahumeen Rasheed.
They said that the suspects were arrested in Hulhumale' on the 4th of this month under a court order.
The two were produced before the court for a decision on their remand. Shahmeen Rasheed was ordered to remain in custody until his trial while Mohammed Sameer was remanded in custody for 10 days.
Police are continuing to investigate the case.
