Police have responded to a bomb threat at Rehendi School in Hulhumale' Phase 1.
Police responded to the school's call and were looking into the matter. They did not reveal any more information about the incident.
Education Minister Dr. Ismail Shafeeu said the school received an email from an anonymous sender making a bomb threat to the school.
The incident was reported to the police by the teachers of the school. After investigating the incident, police went to the scene at around 10:00 am to ensure that there was no danger, he said.
The Minister assured that although police responded to the call, the school session was not disrupted.
